10 tourist destinations on the rise – Europe
Georgia
Located in the south Caucasus Georgia is a geographically diverse country with a unique culture and language. Â Georgia has incredible mountains, beautiful Black Sea coastline and an amazing capital city in Tbilisi. I would recommend both Tbilisi and the mountainous region of Svaneti as must see places.

Svaneti, Georgia
Georgia is a great place to invest in tourism as the visitor numbers have increased to around 9 million a year which is nearly 3 times the population of the country.

Cambodia
Cambodia is a country attracting a lot of tourism investment, this can be seen for example in the new airport in Siem Reap. Siem Reap is best known for the incredible Angkor Wat temple complex. The new Siem Reap Angkor international airport opened in October 2023 and cost $1.1 billion to build with a projected 12 million passengers by 2040.

Palau
Although Palau is a remote archipelago with a population of only 20,000 it is already a successful tourist destination. Palau has actually been in danger of over tourism and has now made strong efforts towards sustainable eco-tourism making it a great place to visit.
The government of Palau also have exciting plans to develop the country as a hub for online businesses with taxes of only 4% and excellent internet. It is only a 5 hour flight from Singapore and several other Asian countries, so yes it is a great place to invest.

Palau, beautiful islands
Peru
Peru has everything it needs to be one of the top 10 tourist destinations and will rise and rise I believe. The Andes mountains, ancient ruins, unique culture, the Amazon river and beautiful coastline. With affordable prices and decent infrastructure Peru will be a star of world tourism.

10 tourist destinations on the rise – Africa
Cape Verde
Cape Verde is a nation of 10 volcanic islands in the central Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa. The population is about 600,000. Spectacular landscapes, volcanoes, 350 sunny days a year and unique cuisine based largely on fish make Cape Verde great to visit.
Tourism in Cape Verde is still relatively undeveloped with less than a million tourists a year so it is somewhere worth investigating for investment.

Madagascar
For most people the concern on visiting Madagascar will be safety and security and certainly on the mainland it is important to proceed with caution. However, no such concerns are needed for the Nosy Be islands off the north west coast of the country.
Nosy Be islands are beautiful, atmospheric and safe. Amazing scenery, unique beaches, wonderful wildlife and friendly locals.
