Foundations Care – Toowoomba is part of a not-for-profit Australian organisation dedicated to supporting vulnerable children, young people, and families through foster care, kinship care, and other community services. The Toowoomba office, located at 17 Freighter Avenue, Wilsonton QLD 4350, provides regional support and coordination for carers and young people in the Darling Downs and surrounding areas. The organisation’s work focuses on ensuring that children who cannot safely remain with their birth families are placed in safe, supportive, and nurturing environments where they can heal, grow, and thrive. Founded more than two decades ago, Foundations Care operates with a clear mission: to provide responsive and flexible support services and advocacy that positively impact the lives of children, young people, and families. The organisation collaborates closely with government departments, community leaders, carers, researchers, and other service providers to create stable and meaningful care arrangements for children in need. Through evidence-based practice and innovative approaches informed by behavioural science, Foundations Care aims to improve outcomes for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or family disruption.
